We are not the new kids on the block, Ballistic is a retailing division of L N Pulham t/a LPSA . LPSA was established by Lee Pulham in 1999, the business is based in Worcester Bowl in a typically small shop in the corner of the Centre. Over a 3 year period the business grew to the point where not only was space an inhibiting factor but also the quality of the equipment. In 2004 the original shop was entirely demolished and a 500sq ft unit was constructed, This was a true retail facility, it looked like a shop and was a shop – the workshop was isolated into fascinating processes that customers could see and the dirty area which is out of sight,

Growth, in both, geography serviced and turnover continued – LPSA bought out Bowl Wise of Cheltenham in 2005. LPSA were at that stage attending 9 Bowling Centres across the West Midlands and South West as a visiting service.

Late summer 2008 the recession hit, we had two options 'batten down the hatches' or grow to maintain turnover – we are ambitious but measured. We established an affiliate Pro Shop in Lakeside Bowl, Crewe with an owner operator, Steve Evanson, LPSA Cheshire was launched in the Winter of 2008/09, Growth was slow but is now an established well equipped and Stocked Pro Shop.

In the Spring of 2009, Strykers Bowl in Wolverhampton reopened with a brand new LPSA Pro Shop. Everything was new as was the relationship between a former customer Ian Antill and Lee Pulham – Ian fulfilled his ambition to operate a pro shop Lee found a kindred spirit who had the same values and ambition, Ian was the LPSA manager in Strykers.

In 2010 LPSA negotiated the purchase of RollRite Pro Shop in 1st Bowl Nottingham – another 500sq ft shop – this was the first of the Ballistic Bowling Pro Shops where Lee Pulham and Ian Antill established a partnership to jointly operate the new business. Re-establishing a real presence in the largest bowling centre in Europe has been a challenge now behind us – we have a fabulous facility for our customers,

A new shop is planned for 1st Bowl Ilkeston, Derbyshire – this new shop will be fully equipped with drilling and finishing capability.

Our future is one of growth and diversification with more shops to come.
